The Red Baron has done it again. Eric Barone, a 55-year-old stuntman and high-speed mountain bike specialist, rocketed down a snowy mountainside at 138.75 mph (223.30 km/h) on Saturday to break the record he first set in 2000.

Barone, wearing a special aerodynamic helmet and jumpsuit, battled windy conditions at a ski resort in Vars, France, in the French Alps to eclipse the mountain bike snow speed record of 138.08 mph he set at Les Arcs ski resort in France.

In April, 2013, Eric Barone used a serial production mountain bike and shot down a mountainside at Les Arcs ski resort going 135 mph. It is among several mountain bike speed records he holds.
