Wifi and cell phones are everywhere you go these days. Is it true that your health could be in jeopardy because of this?
We all are living in a wireless technology driven era, but could this really be dangerous for us? Some studies have shown this may be a problem. The main health concerns people are worried about is the massive waves of Electro Magnetic Frequency or EMF that our cell phones and wi-fi are putting off. Most of our electronic devices are on 24 hours a day seven days a week all year round. There has been a wide range of symptoms linked to EMF such as headaches, fatigue, dizziness, insomnia, poor concentration, and irregular heartbeat. Now although EMF has been linked to these symptoms, there has been no research saying Wi-Fi and cell phones are causing these problems first hand.
There are precautions you can take to make sure you do not get these symptoms from EMF. Try using an earpiece while talking on your cell phone. Hold your cell phone away from your body. Confine your routers in your home to areas where you are least likely to hang out. While you sleep, place your phone at least one or two feet away from your bed. You may also want to turn off your router in your home when you are not using it.
There has been quiet a few studies about EMF and how it affects our body, but a first hand human experience was air on television recently. A physiciantold viewers that she noticed her family had been all experiencingsymptoms such as sleep disturbances, heart palpitations, migraines, and general poor health, all starting during the same week. She tried everything she could think of to help her family with these problems, but the symptoms continued. Finally, she decided to turn off the routers in the home while they slept or was not using them. After she had tried this immediately, her family began to sleep better and have overall better health.
Researchers are still investigating the outcome of being around cell phones and wi-fi all the time. We still do not know how harmful it is but, for now keep yourself aware of these possibilities of health issues while using your devices.
